Vacation Ownership is sold primarily through Weeks or Points, the latter being offered as a one time purchase in the denomination that best fits your lifestyle. These Points are then renewed and spent like currency each year.

Points values of accommodation vary depending on:

• Unit size and number of rooms
• Furnishings
• Season
• Resort location
• Property amenities
• Overall quality

When you purchase your vacation week or convert an existing vacation week, it’s assigned an RCI Points value, which simplifies the exchange process. The RCI Points value depends on certain factors including the supply and demand at that resort location, the type of unit, season, and evaluations from Members who’ve stayed there. Your RCI Points are made available to you annually, at the beginning of your Use Year.

Once you receive your annual allotment of RCI Points, you can exchange them to make reservations at both Points and weeks resorts, as well as RCI Points Partners for hotels, rental cars, cruises, airfare and entertainment.

RCI staff assist with locating and using your Points to book space at affiliated resorts. They help you find the style and location combination to make your vacation enjoyable and memorable.

If you have remaining RCI Points at the end of your Use Year, we’ll save them into your next Use Year for free, as long as you’ve exchanged some of your points. If you haven’t exchanged any RCI Points, you can still save them for a small transaction fee.

If you don’t have enough RCI Points to book the reservation you want, you can borrow what you need from your next Use Year. You can also rent additional RCI Points at a low price to complete a reservation.

You can also exchange your RCI Points with hundreds of Points Partners®: travel and leisure companies that help you get virtually anywhere you want to go. Enjoy hundreds of products and services ideally suited to a lifestyle of vacation and travel. Exchange your RCI Points for items such as rental cars, airfare or cruises.

Vacation rentals give RCI® Subscribing Members travel opportunities at popular destinations at great prices. You can enjoy an additional vacation exchanging RCI Points®. You’ll find accommodations for a full week’s vacation, a long weekend and last minute opportunities. And there’s no limit to how many rentals you can book as accommodations are routinely available.

At any time during your Use Year, you may transfer as a gift RCI Points to family or friends who are in the RCI Points program. Or give Points as a gift. RCI Subscribing Members are entitled to purchase Guest Certificates for just a small fee plus the exchange fee or the cost of the rental.

As an RCI Subscribing Member, you don’t have to worry about losing your RCI Points® if you cancel your exchange vacation plans when you’ve taken advantage of RCI Cancellation Protection. Members who enroll protect their vacation.
